Summer Breeze Caprese Salad with Ariston Traditional Balsamic Vinegar


  • 4 ripe tomatoes, sliced

  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced

  • 1 bunch fresh basil leaves

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the balsamic vinaigrette:

  • 1/4 cup Ariston Traditional Balsamic Vinegar

  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Optional garnish:

  • Ariston Traditional Balsamic Glaze for drizzling

  • Fresh basil leaves


  1. Arrange the tomato slices and mozzarella slices on a large serving platter, alternating them in a circular pattern.

  2. Tuck the fresh basil leaves in between the tomato and mozzarella slices.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the Ariston Traditional Balsamic Vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined. This is your balsamic vinaigrette.

  4. Drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette over the tomato and mozzarella slices, ensuring even coverage.

  5. Season the salad with salt and black pepper to taste.

  6. Optional: Drizzle a little Ariston Traditional Balsamic Glaze over the top of the salad for added sweetness and presentation.

  7. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.

  8. Allow the flavors to meld together by letting the salad sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before serving.
